It was an immense challenge to find twins of a particular age, both experienced, fine actresses, who would also not be familiar to the Czech audience. Casting twins for the main role and her “alter ego” helped us speed up the production but also provided opportunities for interesting tricks with the camera. An exceptionally thorough casting process did not focus on Czechia only – and choosing British actresses Charly and Robyn Faye helped us achieve authenticity and credibility of the story.
